Farouq Olayinka

Head, Vigeo Shipping

Farouq is a Chartered Accountant with over 10years post qualification experience in manufacturing and service industries.

He joined Vigeo Group 2002 as Financial Accountant. Since then, he has worked with various companies within the group handling responsibilities ranging from accounting to operations.

Before joining Vigeo Group, Farouq worked with Livestock feeds Plc as Plant Accountant, with overall responsibility for accounting, treasury and statutory matters for the Benin plant.

In 2001, he joined UACN Plc, where he was posted to UAC foods Division as Operations Accountant in charge of the Snacks (including the flagship brand Gala).

He is a member of various professional bodies including, institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Nigerian Institute of Management. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School.

He now heads the Shipping group in Vigeo Holdings Limited.
