Farstad Shipping is a joint Venture between Vigeo Holdings and Farstad
Shipping ASA. The strength of the joint venture is in the creation
of a new service niche, which involves providing superior value
added services to the major companies in the Oil and Gas sector
of the Nigerian economy. Leveraging
the assets and Strategies of Farstad Shipping ASA, the company can
access the vessels in the Farstad fleet and is currently in the
process of building its own fleet, specifically for trading in the
regional market.
The
company which began operations in October 2003 with the deployment
of the PSV “The Lady Melinda” has received
excellent reviews from major deepwater operators in Nigeria

Target of ‘Vigeo Farstad’ is to become
