Ayodele Maji

Executive Director

Ayo Maji is a graduate of the University of Lagos with over 20 years post graduate experience. She joined Vigeo Limited in December 1992 as Executive Assistant in the Corporate Office, working directly with the Chairman / Chief Executive. Her responsibilities involved mainly Business Development activities.

In 1999, Ayo was appointed Group Head, Business and Corporate Development still under the Corporate Office. Her major assignments centered on the development of the New Vigeo Enterprise, a 5 year organisational restructuring and expansion programme.

In 2007 Ayo was appointed the CEO of Vigeo Oil & Gas comprising Vigeo Shipping and the traditional Oil & Gas support services units with operations spanning PHC, Warri and Eket.

Vigeo Oil & Gas has seen a consistent growth in turnover over the years. She has succeeded in strategically reshaping the service platform of Vigeo Oil & Gas by introducing Vigeo Steel and the Maintenance & Engineering Services unit.

Having worked in the senior management cadre for over 10 years, she parades experience in International business development, marketing, key account management, product development, people management, business and financial operations.

Ayo currently heads the Vigeo Faculty, an in-house training platform, with responsibility for organising company-wide management development training sessions. She is also a Director of Datatech Energy Services Limited, a subsidiary of Vigeo Holdings Limited.

She is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Nigerian Gas Association.

In July 2011, Ayo was invited to the Board of the company and appointed Executive Director.
